How to use at home
Usually taken as decoction or in classical formulations; a paste with turmeric is applied to acne-prone skin.
Typical safe range: 1-3 g powder or decoction daily
Precautions: Avoid in pregnancy. Berberine can interact with diabetes and blood-pressure medicines — space doses and inform your physician. Always inform your physician about herbs you take alongside prescribed medicines, and never stop prescriptions on your own.
