How to use at home
Hold a clove against an aching tooth, suck one for a scratchy throat, or add to tea and food; a drop of clove oil on cotton for dental first aid.
Typical safe range: 1-2 buds or 250-500 mg powder daily
Precautions: Clove oil is very strong — never swallow it neat; dental pain still needs a dentist. Always inform your physician about herbs you take alongside prescribed medicines, and never stop prescriptions on your own.
